In addition to field trials and specialty shows, the Sahuaro Brittany Club occasionally sponsors AKC Hunt Tests for all pointing breeds.

Although the club doesn't directly sponsor any competitive events other than shows and field trials, several of our members are involved in obedience and agility trials and many of our members go hunting during the season with their Brittanys. We also welcome people who have Brittanys that are "just pets."

Members of our club get together periodically to train dogs for field activities and hunting, and we have strictly social events from time to time, such as picnics, potluck dinners, and club fun days with the dogs.
