Every Brittany needs a home, but not every home needs a Brittany! They are very high energy dogs and prospective owners must be willing to commit themselves to getting ample exercise for their Brittanys. Just having a "big yard" is not enough. More Brittanys are surrendered to shelters and rescue organizations because of their activity level than for any other reason. Before you decide on a Brittany, please be sure that you understand the energy level and needs of the breed.
